ReTown President and Managing Director Jim Louthen and team are pursuing the City of Marathon, Florida to plan and develop the City-owned 104th Street property slated for workforce housing. ReTown is proposing 40 units of workforce housing targeting 80% and 60% average median income population. “Because the City desires homeownership,” Louthen explains, we are recommending combining low income housing tax credits with a limited equity cooperative form of homeownership.”
